Accessory dwelling units (ADUs) vary in name (mother-in-law units, backyard studios, apartment over a garage, tiny house addition, carriage houses, etc) and purpose (additional space, short term or long term rental income, small living quarters, etc). However, ADUs are an additional structure on property that is not sub-divided.
Regardless of name or purpose, we can help you build it. Through the years, we have completed numerous different styles of ADUs throughout Oakland, Berkeley, greater East Bay, and North Bay. Whether you want a full kitchen, a bathroom, or just a solid structure for a new work space, we have experience designing and constructing it. In addition to our experience, working with a design build firm streamlines every process from design to permitting to raising walls to final walk-through and maintains accountability.

Review: I honestly couldn't give TDB a higher recommendation - my experience working with Eli & Ben was wonderful from when we first started brainstorming ideas, to when they'd left the site cleaner than they found it. I hired them to design and build two cabin offices in the backyard of my business in San Francisco, and they did a phenomenal job. They were accurate in their estimates of how much the project would cost, extremely clean during the build, finished ahead of schedule (!!!), and I am very, very happy with the craftsmanship of their work.
